Upgrading ServiceNow: London Release

With each new version release from ServiceNow, we see changes to existing applications and modules plus, brand new functionality.

With two releases scheduled per year, ServiceNow is driven to product improvement and market growth.

ServiceNow's Release Timeline

The company has the ambition to turnover more than $4 Billion Dollars by 2020.

Considering their current growth curve, there is no obvious reason why this wouldn’t be possible.

ServiceNow's 2018 Growth Curve

More and more organisations are realising the benefits of working with the Now Platform and are expanding their usage across many departments and processes.

The Release Notes

As a ServiceNow partner, SPOC also has to keep up with this growth. It’s important to make sure we are aware of the new features available.

To begin this process, most will head to the ServiceNow Documents site. Here people can familiarise themselves with the upcoming changes.

If you visit this page, you can take a look at what’s new and what’s changed since the last version release.

In the coming weeks, we will be exploring some of the new features, such as Virtual Agent in more detail on the Mr.SPOC Blog site.

Upgrading ServiceNow

If you’re using ServiceNow and you’re on a previous version, you should consider your upgrade cycle with high priority.

ServiceNow will only provide dedicated support to the last two releases, meaning if you encounter an issue, it could be harder to resolve.

When working with our clients, we always recommend to be on one of the latest versions for this reason, and because you have access to the latest and greatest features.

The process of upgrading ServiceNow can be daunting for some, but it doesn’t need to be. Especially when you have the guidance of experienced experts.

If you have any questions relating to this process, please feel free to contact SPOC.
